Class AA: 21 – 30 Winds
Class AAA: 31 – 50 Winds

JUDGING
At the Wildcat Classic we utilize judging system based on the 40-30-30 scale, with a few modifications. All performing ensembles will be judged in the captions of Music (35%), Visual Performance (25%), General Effect (25%), as well as Percussion (5%), Color Guard (5%) and Drum Major (5%). Our goal will be to use a system designed to reward bands of all sizes for their musicality, technical achievement and overall design, providing them with an overall rating of Good (60 – 69.9), Excellent (70 – 84.9) or Superior (85 – 100). Our judging panel for this year will include:
Music Performance: Tommy Smith (Unconfirmed)
Visual Performance: Phillip Wingfield (Unconfirmed)
General Effect: Andy Carter (Unconfirmed)
Percussion: Greg Dearman (Unconfirmed)
Color Guard: Jeremy Dale (Unconfirmed)
Drum Major: Kim Askew (Unconfirmed)
AWARDS
First and Second overall awards will be presented in each class. Within each class, First and Second Place awards will be presented for Music, Visual, General Effect, Color Guard, Percussion and Drum Major. We will also recognize Best Pit Crew, Grand Champion A/AA and Grand Champion AAA/AAAA. Finally, we will present the Esprit de Corps to the group displaying the highest levels of positive attitude, professionalism and spirit; and the Grand Champion Trophy to the ensemble with the highest overall score for the day.
LOCATION
Eastern Randolph High School is located in between NC-49 and US-64, not far from US-421 and US-220. The school is approximately 20 minutes from Asheboro, 45 minutes from Greensboro and Burlington, 60 minutes from High Point and Kernersville, 70 minutes from Lexington and Winston-Salem, and 90 minutes from Raleigh. The school address is 390 Eastern Randolph Rd, Ramseur.
FACILITIES
Our entire campus will be utilized to make this event as enjoyable and stress free as possible. The facilities provide a large, accessible contest field, ample audience seating, dressing rooms, parking, equipment staging, concessions, hospitality and warm-up areas. Host students and Booster Volunteers will be available to assist in any way they can to make this a meaningful event for your band members and supporters.
ENTRY FEE
The festival entry fee will work according to the following schedule:
Normal registration (by September 26th, 2019): $75.00
Late registration (after September 26th, 2019): $90.00
